One of the first things we noticed about PV (other than the heat!) was that there was an atmospere of calm. Unlike the prevailing frenetic atmosphere in the states, it just seemed at though averyone was relaxed and in no hurry. Even the traffic seemed that way. We were also struck by how friendly everyone was. On our second day, August 18th, my birthday, we wanted to find a spot for breakfast. We searched for spots within walking distance of the condo and settled upon The Pancake House – http://www.pancakehouse.com.mx The restaurant was located at Basilio Badillo #289 Emiliano Zapata. This street was very upscale with restaurants, cocktail lounges (mostly LGBT), and OXXO (the Mexican equivalent of 7-11). The restaurant was not croweded and we were greeted by a friendly server. The fron of the restaurant was open to the street enabling those that sat in the first set of tables to enjoy the early morning coolness and to oberve the beggining activity of the start of a day in PV. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Upon finishing breakfast, we went directly accross the street to a large well stocked wine shop. We purchased a bottle of wine and made our way back to the condo as we had meeting up with our realtor on our agenda for the day. We decided to take advantage of the condo’s rooftop area which featured a pool, jacuzzi, hammocks, and a breathtaking view of the PV skyline including the ocean.
