After our morning at Los Muertos, we decided to take the opportunity to check out a pizza place our realtor had recommended. We were greeted by the proprietor and seated in an area in front of the restaurant that afforded a view out onto the street but was covered. I had a good cocktail and my Husband, Ken opted for a beer. We were there about 15 minutes when suddenly the restaurant became inundated with patrons. Were were glad that we got there when we did! After eating a wood-fired pizza that was delicious and the perfect size for two, we took the opportunity to walk around the neighboorhood with the intention of seeking out the site of Roma Encore, a development that our realtor thought might be a fit for us. https://www.romaencore.mx/ We located the site of the development and to our dismay, it was just a vacant lot! It was about a 4 block walk from the restaurant and not that far from the main thoroughfare (MX200). The entire area had a somewhat rundown look to it, but it was clear that once construction of the complex took place, it would definitely be an enhancement to the area. We walked to an OXXO located on MX200 to catch an Uber back to the Romantic Zone.
