Ken and I had the opportunity stop by the lot on June 30th enroute to a much needed vacation in Daytona Shores, Florida. We were astonished to see the progress what with the lot next to ours having been cleared. We met with our general contractor, Joe Rowe of Rowe Construction https://www.roweconstructioninc.com/ The clearing of our lot is set to start right after the 4th of July so it was necessary to walk the lot and mark trees that need to be removed. We are thrilled that our plans have cleared our HOA and we are currently in the process of securing a construction loan. Our designer is finalizing details for the interior and we hope to wrap up with him mid July. Our contractor anticipates 7 months to construct which if the process starts in August, would have us taking occupancy in February! Right now this seems like a long time off, but when you consider the fact that it’s been 6 months since we started the process of preparing to list our last house, it’s just around the corner! All of this coincides with me starting a new job on July 17th having left my former employer on June 29th! I will be actually working in Savannah and am looking forward to a new challenge.
