As April draws to a close, we are looking forward to a busy May! Interior electrical finishing is set to wrap up this week (ceiling lights, light fixtures, electrical outlets, switches, and low voltage equipment). Tilework has started and should be finished by May 3rd. The grading of the lot and concrete pour for the driveway is set for the first week in May. We are anticipating exterior painting to take place as well. Hopefully, cabinets will be arriving mid-May which will then allow the countertops to be templated and cut. HVAC is expected to be connected the first week of May and the garage door will be installed this week as well. At this point, the house will be secure! Electricity should also be connected this week. Once the HVAC has been running for a few days, the hardwood floors will be installed. We are trying to finalize furniture and area rug selections. At this stage of the game, we are anticipating move in the first or second week of June. Ken has done an excellent job of keeping everything on budget and we expect to finish under the projected cost of the total project.
