May 7th was a very exciting day at the site as exterior painting started. The color we chose is Sherwin Williams’ African Gray with a white trim. After months of looking at unadorned board and batten, it’s nice to see what our home is ultimately going to look like once construction is complete. The concrete was also poured for the driveway and front walkway. The workers onsite advised that it took for truckloads of cement! The tilework is installed and should be grouted by the weekend. We are planing a weekend Tybee Island beach trip. So we’ll definitely get by the house to see how things are proceeding.
