Last week our driveway was completed with the pouring of the asphalt entrance. We can now access the property without walking through dirt and mud! We spent the better part of last week at the house getting our cat 5 cables tipped and labeled – there are close to 40! Electricians have started correcting wiring issues and getting everything wired according to the plans. AT&T came out on the 22nd and got our fiber optic service connected. We now have wi-fi and can start the process of getting components such as Ecobee thermostats and security cameras connected. On Monday, June 24th my next door neighbor texted me the photo above. Our sod arrived! The landscaper will start laying sod and the property and getting the landscaping in. Based on the progress, it’s looking more likely that we’ll be moving mid-July and we are estatic! Despite our excitement and enthusiasm, the intricate ballet of coordinating activities, orders, deliveries, etc. can at times be overwhelming. However, this past weekend I got to spend a lot of time just sitting on the front porch and the peace and quiet of the development was very relaxing. I’m really looking forward to being a new resident of Holly Oaks Estates and Savannah!
