We are now firing on all cylinders as we rapidly approach the end of June and our July completion timeframe! Sod arrived at the site on Monday, June 24th and the landscaper got it put down on Tuesday. We’re fortunate enough to have already established a friendship with the next door neighbors whose home was completed 2 weeks ago and she sent photos of our new lawn! It amazing how transformative it is. What has looked like a messy construction site for so long now looks like a home! There will be a variety of plants installed to include: 2 Japanese Maples, 2 Eagleston Holly, 1 Fragrant Tea Olive Tree, 6 Abelia, 7 Pringle Podacarus, 12 Whorled Class Viburnum, 11 Frost Proof Gardenia, and 2 Washingtonia Palms. We may also be adding 3-4 Magnolia trees on the front of the property. There seems to have been a glitch with the sprinkler system. Hopefully, it gets rectified quickly as we are currently experiencing extremely hot temperatures in the region. On the inside, the trim carpenter is finishing up, electrical is continuing, and the installation of plumbing fixtures has begun. Cabinet installation and countertop install should be taking place in the next 2 weeks.
