We spend the entire week 7/15 at the house to be on hand for deliveries and to work on led lighting for our feature wall built ins. The exerior of the house looks great! We were, however, a little dismayed with the inside. Trash, empty boxes, and litter was present everywhere. We came to the conclusion that to the trade working onsite, this is still a job site. To us, it’s our future home and the situatin was very distressing. Our GC and his son came in yesterday, 7/19 and got rid of all the refuse and it made such a huge difference! It feels like house waiting for someone to move in. The also installed the backlit mirror in our primary bathroom. We also have our bidet commode installed making it no longer necessary to use the portapotty. Our washer and dryer arrived and was installed. We also received 2 large dressers which fit perfectly in the walk in closet. We confirmed with our GC that we can, indeed, move in on 7/26. Cleaners will be coming in on Thursday, 7/25 to clean the house from top to bottom. We have furnture coming in as well. Now it remains to pack up the Dublin house in preparation for our departure!
