We have been in the new house a whole week! We’ve unpacked a tremeandous number of boxes and managed to get set up for the most part. I was very happy that the cabinet fabricator got the drawers and doors installed – the touch to open latches and the appliance panels should be in place this week. I spent a fortune of shelf liner and got most of the dishes, pots and pans, glasses, flatware put away. I’m most happy with my pantry! There is a place for everything and it gives me joy just looking at it! I found a hauler on Next door who has made two trips to pick up extra boxes! We are bracing for the remnants of Hurricane Debbie which is expected to impact our area with a tremeandous amount of rain. I have kept the sprinkler system off for the past 2 days in anticipation of the deluge. We got our 65′ Samsung Frame TV mounted on the feature wall and our surround system set up and it’s amazing! There is also a projection system built into the feature wall for our beloved movie nights! After a week, it’s definitely starting to feel like home.
