The Season of Joy is Upon Us!

It’s been four months since we moved into our Savannah dream home! We have entertained visitors 4 time with the most recent being Thanksgiving with my Mom and Sister (her second visit). While we endured a cold snap weather-wise, my Mom was able to enjoy her 81st Birthday celebration and I provided a bountiful spread featuring a turkey breast, standing rib roast, augratin potatos, brussel sprouts, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. It is now Christmas season. We, along with our next door neighbors at 104 Drifton have agreed to host a progressive Holiday Party for the neighborhood. Our home will offer cocktails with our neighbors providing Hors d’oeuvres. We have decorated the exterior of our home in anticipation of the holidays. Nothing elaborate, just a wreath on the front door with garland framing it, a small lit tree on the porch, wreaths on the front windows, and twinkle lights on our two Japanese Maples. We will acquire poinsettias as we get closer to the event scheduled for 12/14. We won’t put up a tree this year as we will be spending Christimas in Norwalk, Ct at Ken’s Mom’s. It’s hard to believe that 2024 is rapidly drawing to a close. We have much to be thankful for.
