Happy New Year

Due to disillusionment with the outcome of the U.S. election and all of the virtriol swirling on social media, I decided to take an extended social media break and enjoy the holiday season. I enjoyed a Thanksgiving visit from my Mom and Sister, we hosted an HOA holiday party with our neighbors, spent Christmas in Connecticut with Ken’s family and rang in the New Year in Charleson, SC. I am not looking forward to 4 years of extremism, but I am less than 2 years away from drawing social security and looking forward to the next chapter of life. We are planning for our eventual retirement and are looking at some ways to faciliate making that happen. We are both enjoying our electric vehicles (We drove mine to Charleston and found charging to be a breeze). On the job front, I am continuing to enjoy work and excited about the professional prospects 2025 will bring. I plan to be more intentional about the social media content I expose myself to.
