Rhodes, Greece

Day 3 of our Greek Island Glow Virgin Voyage brought us to Rhodes, Greece. Here we were docked and able to walk into town. “Rhodes, major city of the island of Rhodes (Modern Greek: Ródos), South Aegean (Nótio Aigaío) periféreia (region), southeastern Greece. The largest urban centre on the island, Rhodes sits on its northeasternmost tip. In Classical history, Rhodes was a maritime power and the site of the Colossus of Rhodes. Because of its influence on Mediterranean history as well as its preservation of Gothic and Ottoman structures, the city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988.” (https://www.britannica.com/place/Rhodes-Greece) Again, Resilient Lady was not the only cruise ship in port so we had to contend with throngs of other sightseers. We opted not to take an excursion here and just wandered the Old Town streets and saw sights before heading back to Resilient Lady.
