On August 18th I celebrated 67 trips around the Sun! It’s hard to believe that I’m a senior! LOL I received an early birthday gift on August 13th when I was informed that I was being promoted on my job to a Regional Manager role! I have applied for two other roles in the past 4 months to no avail, but I truly feel this position is the one that I’m best suited for. On the 18th we celebrated my birthday with friends at The Olde Pink House restaurant https://www.theoldepinkhouserestaurant.com/ where the food is to die for! I received wonderful birthday gifts as well! My husband Ken got me a custom made cutting board which is much larger the the one I had because I always admired the size of the cutting board Joanna Gaines uses on her Magnolia Table cooking show. My Sister got me portable margarita glasses that we can use at the beach! With my Mother in-law’s gift card, I got a pair of tactical boots. All in all, it feels good to be another year older and hopefully wiser!
