We decided to spend this past weekend in Atlanta. We had tickets to see James Taylor at Chastain Park Amphitheater – https://www.livenation.com It’s a 4 hour drive from Savannah to Atlanta, so we left around 11 on Friday with plans to spend the night and come back Saturday afternoon. With EVs, you have to factor stopping to charge in your travel plans wich thus far hasn’t been an issue. The traffic was fine until we hit Mcdonough, GA which for some reason alsways features a backup. We arrived in Atlanta aroun 4:45 PM, checked into our hotel, and met a friend who lives in the area for dinner. Parking at the venue can always be spotty so you have to allow yourself the patience to hunt for a spot. We got lucky and found an offstreet spot close by. The show was phenomenal and James is still in good voice. He of course, performed many of his staples and gave 2 encores. Here are some short clips from the show!
